It is obvious that Biden, the weaker candidate, won both the popular vote and the vote of the delegates of the individual states.

Trump’s refusal to acknowledge his clear and indisputable defeat is a matter of criminal pathology. It is easy to forecast that there will be trouble and it is likely that someone will die. When many groups of armed fanatical extremists are excited by a mentally sick leader, blinded by anger and fear, it is very easy for someone to lose control and … kill. Particularly in the United States where the gun is a specific cultural feature.

What is worrying are the 70 million votes Trump received, despite his political failure, and his arrogant character profile. Even more worrying is the fact that if Trump, a political failure, with a personal criminal history, had behaved, with a minimum of decency in his 4-year term, he would have easily won.

His vulgarity and arrogance (a woman? Just grab her by the pussy) are the determining factors of the defeat, that cost him 4 million votes. But for all the remaining motivations, economy and politics, he would have certainly won, anyway, for a loser, the number of his voters is appalling.  Since the subject is pathologically unable to see his own vulgarity and his arrogance his claim of victory is obvious.

Similar is the situation of his voters who consider themselves illegally deprived of victory, and are fiercely convinced of this as an abusive deprivation. So lacking currently unforeseeable elements, the chances of a civil war are there.

In the light of this synthetic and logical consideration, Matteo Salvini’s behavior and political profile must be evaluated and the ineludible consequences must be drawn. Salvini is unable to assess the US circumstances on account of his cultural, ethical and political closeness to Trump: he is dangerous to himself and others.
