La dichiarazione di Trump di aver vinto la gara per la Casa Bianca il 4 di Novembre 2020 mentre lo scrutinio dei voti era iniziato da poco, è stata di fatto l’inizio della strategia golpista che aveva coltivato durante tutta la campagna elettorale. Da allora Trump ha continuato a martellare le news con la sistematica campagna di bugie che sostiene oramai a un mese dalle elezioni, quando ogni risultato è chiaramente a favore di Biden, che ha un margine netto anche se non la “land slide” attesa. È stata una vittoria di stretta misura.

Il colpo di stato era progettato, organizzato e voluto ed è tuttora l’obbiettivo di Trump: screditare Biden, convincere l’America di avere un presidente illegittimo, indebolire la nuova Amministrazione con un sistematico assedio a base di bugie e falsi. In questo senso va letta la goffa reazione con la quale repubblicani hanno seguito la criminale azione di Trump senza denunciarla per quello che era: un tentativo di colpo di Stato.

Una base di 74 milioni di elettori fanatici segue Trump e non chiede altro che credere alla campagna di bugie. In pratica una guerra civile permanente che durerà per tutti gli anni del mandato a Biden. Una base che finanzierà con fondi monumentali la campagna di Trump e che costringerà l’Amministrazione Biden a un ruolo di difesa affannosa e a una debolezza politica letale.

Per evitare questa condizione Biden dovrà rispondere con una strategia severa e durissima: la campagna di Trump è qualificabile come tradimento del dettato costituzionale americano e come tale va gestita nella sede giudiziaria competente. Solo alla fine della vicenda si potrà dire che la democrazia americana ha vinto: oggi l’Istituto della Democrazia in America è in forte sofferenza e decisamente sotto lo schiaffo di un criminale che ha bisogno di assistenza professionale non solo politica e legale.

TRUMP’S COUP

Trump’s declaration that he had won the race for the White House on November 4th, 2020, while the ballot count had justbegun, was in fact the beginning of the coup strategy he had fostered throughout the entire campaign. Trump has continued to harass the news with the systematic campaign of lies that he still supports a month after the elections, when every result is clearly in favor of Biden, who has a clear margin even if not the expected “land slide” . It was a victory not quite qualifiable as “narrow”.

The coup was clearly organized and is still Trump’s goal: to discredit Biden, to convince America that he is an illegitimate president, to weaken the new administration with a systematic aggression based on lies. Hence the clumsy reaction of theRepublicans to Trump’s criminal action: they were waiting for the possible outcome of the attempted coup.

A base of 74 million fanatical voters follows Trump and asks only to believe the campaign of lies. This will be a permanent civil war that will last for all the years of  Biden’s term. A base that will fund Trump’s campaign with monumental funds and force the Biden administration into a frantic defense role and seal it into a lethal political weakness.

To avoid this condition Biden will have to respond with a severe strategy: Trump’s campaign can be qualified as a crime against the American Constitution and as such should be brought to the competent Court.  Only at the end of this story it will be possible to say that the American democracy has won: today the Institute of Democracy in the US is attacked by acriminal who needs professional assistance, not only political and legal.
