Leggo il lamento/incazzatura del Professor Massimo Cacciari (La Repubblica 11/01/21) perché Trump viene interdetto dalla divulgazione delle sue calunnie, falsità e criminali follie dai padroni di Twitter e non da “non si capisce bene cosa”… una superiore Autorità Etica? Un illuminato potere politico? Una regola Aurea? Un benevolo Principe? No.  Dal bieco capitalista che fino a ieri lo lasciava avvelenare l’informazione con le sue bugie, la sua arroganza e la sua smania di potere e che finalmente, oggi dopo la vergogna del 6 Gennaio di Washington, ha capito che si è superato il limite della decenza e lo blocca. 

Non per sfizio di “bieco capitalista”, ma perché Trump ha violato una precisa regola di Twitter incitando alla violenza i suoi sostenitori, dopo averli plagiati con calunnie e false informazioni per anni, senza che nessuno intervenisse.

Calunnie e false informazioni sono state tollerate, l’invito alla violenza no.

Questo è il criterio con il quale si tollera la falsificazione per consentire la libertà di espressione. Se ne può discutere. Se ne dovrebbe discutere.

Cacciari si indigna, come spesso gli capita, non perché manca la legge, l’Autorità superiore, il criterio sancito dalle regole ufficiali, come sarebbe giusto indignarsi, ma perché è il “bieco capitalista” che interviene nel vuoto di responsabilità politiche più qualificate.

Manca clamorosamente l’Etica Ufficiale e la sporca prassi del bieco padrone interviene in supplenza.  Orrore! Io dico “meno male”!

Ho l’impressione che Cacciari prenda una bella cantonata.

Da quattro anni Trump imperversa con calunnie, falsificazioni, volgari menzogne, protetto dal fantasma della “libertà di espressione”.  Tutti sono indignati, tutti gridano alla vergogna, ma nessuno interviene. Il JudiciaryUSA così pronto nella condanna dei pompini di Lewinsky è inerte, e non può certo ignorare.

Chi dorme al volante? Chi non controlla? Chi non interviene?  Chi è responsabile?

Ovviamente la “Politica”, il “Governo”, la “Legge”. Ovvero il Popolo Sovrano attraverso i suoi rappresentanti.

Ma i rappresentanti del Popolo Sovrano sono i soggetti democraticamente eletti. Come vengono eletti i rappresentanti del Popolo Sovrano? …tagliando corto vengono eletti dalla gente comune. Chi informa la gente comune? I leader d’opinione.

Proprio quelli come il professor Massimo Cacciari. 

Certo non il prof. Cacciari, sempre presente e rigorosamente indignato nei talk show e nei salotti tv, ma “quelli come lui”,  la classe degli intellettuali, i “chierici” di Julien Benda  (cfr La Trahison des Clercs, 1927,  Julien Benda, 1867-1956).

Il fallimento della cultura che caratterizza il vuoto ideale di questi anni ha precise responsabilità.

Per questo scrivo …quello che vorrei leggere.

WHEN FACTS HAPPEN BEFORE PHILOSOPHY

I read the lament/anger of Professor Massimo Cacciari (La Repubblica 11/01/21) because Trump is banned from divulging his slanders, falsehoods and criminal follies by the owners of Twitter and not by “nobody knows who” … a superior Ethical Authority? An Enlightened Political Power? A God Given Golden Rule? A Benevolent Prince? No. By the bloody capitalist owner of Twitter who, until yesterday, let him poison the news with his lies, his arrogance and his egomaniacal greed for power, and who finally, today after the shame of January 6th  in Washington, has understood that the limit of decency has been violated and stops the  revolting mess. 

Not for the whim of a “bloody capitalist“, but because Trump violated a specific Twitter rule by inciting his supporters to violence, after plagiarizing them with slander and false information for years, without anyone doing anything about it. 

Slander and fake news were tolerated, inciting to violence was not. 

This is the criterion by which slander is tolerated in the name of freedom of expression. Arguable. 

Cacciari is indignant, as he often is, not because the law, the Higher Authority, the criteria sanctioned by official rules are missing, for which it would be right to be indignant, but because it is the “bloody capitalist” who intervenes, lacking more qualified political responsibilities.

The Official Ethics is vacant and is supplemented by the messy practice of the bloody capitalist. He says “shame”! I say “at last“!I think prof. Massimo Cacciari has lost the plot. For four years Trump has been raging with slander, fake news, vulgar lies, protected by the ghost of “freedom of expression“.

Everyone is indignant; everyone screams in shame, but nobody does anything. The Judiciary USA, so keen to criticise Lewinsky’s blowjobs, is silent. Who is sleeping at the wheel? Who is not checking? Who is absent? Who is responsible? Obviously the “Politics”, the “Government”, the “Law”. That is, the People through their representatives. 

But the representatives of the People are democratically elected. How are they elected? … They are elected by the People. Who informs the People? Opinion leaders –  those like Professor Massimo Cacciari. 

Certainly not prof. Cacciari, always present and rightly indignant on the talk shows and TV salons, but “those like him“, the intellectuals, the “clerics” of Julien Benda (cf. La Trahison des Clercs, 1927, Julien Benda, 1867-1956) . 

The failure of the culture that characterizes the ethical void of these years has very specific responsibilities. This is why I write … what I would like to read.
